The Best Connection is currently recruiting Night Loaders on behalf of our client based in Treforest. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals who are comfortable with heavy manual work and are looking for ongoing night shift employment, with the potential for a permanent position.
The Role
Working as part of a busy night-time operation, your main responsibility will be loading cages onto HGV lorries, ensuring goods are loaded safely and efficiently ready for dispatch.
Key responsibilities include:
- Loading and unloading cages onto HGV lorries.
- Handling extremely heavy cages weighing up to 250kg, requiring significant physical effort.
- Carrying out heavy manual handling duties throughout the shift.
- Working efficiently as part of a team to meet loading deadlines.
- Following all site health and safety procedures.
Shift Details & Pay
- Location: Treforest
- Shift: 8:00pm - 4:00am
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Pay rate: £14.00 per hour
- Overtime: Available
- Night enhancements: Available
- Contract: Ongoing temporary work with the potential to become permanent
What We're Looking For
- A reliable and hardworking attitude.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to undertake very heavy manual work.
- The ability to work at pace in a busy warehouse or distribution environment.
- A strong team-working ethic and a commitment to safe working practices.
- Previous warehouse or loading experience is advantageous but not essential.
