They are looking for individuals to join their busy production team, who will take responsibility for the assembly and quality of the products manufactured in their cell.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operative to join our client's dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and maintaining CNC machines to ensure efficient production of high-quality components.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC machines according to technical specifications and production schedules.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Program CNC machines and make adjustments to optimise performance.
- Conduct routine machine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure all safety protocols and quality standards are adhered to.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of setups and operations.
- Proven experience as a CNC Operative or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and machine operations preferably 5200 Okuma LB225B.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship is preferred.
