They are looking for individuals to join their busy production team, who will take responsibility for the assembly and quality of the products manufactured in their cell.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operative to join our client's dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and maintaining CNC machines to ensure efficient production of high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines according to technical specifications and production schedules.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Program CNC machines and make adjustments to optimise performance.
  • Conduct routine machine inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure all safety protocols and quality standards are adhered to.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of setups and operations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a CNC Operative or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming and machine operations preferably 5200 Okuma LB225B.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship is preferred.
Physical and Mental Demands

The job holder is expected to be able to work in a manufacturing environment. There is a requirement to be flexible with regards to shifts and working patterns.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: From Β£14.50 - Β£15.66 Schedule: 06:00am - 16:00pm, 16:00pm - 02:00am, Monday - Thursday, 10 hour shift, Rotational Shifts.
