Class 2 HGV Driver - Bury
£14.50 per hour + overtime | Monday to Friday | Ongoing work
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HGV Driver to join a busy delivery operation based in Bury, delivering carpets and flooring products to retail customers.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional Class 2 driver looking for ongoing, guaranteed work with no weekends or bank holidays.
The Role
- Start time: 07:00
- Average 15 deliveries per day
- Delivering carpets and flooring products to retail shops
- Manual handling is involved, although most customers will assist with bringing carpets into their premises
- Dealing directly with customers, so excellent customer service and professionalism are essential
- Monday to Friday - no weekends or bank holidays
- Ongoing work guaranteed
- £14.50 per hour
- Overtime paid after 8 hours
- Weekly pay
What We’re Looking For
- Full Class 2 (Category C) licence
- No points on your driving licence
- Previous Class 2 experience preferred
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience essential
- Valid and up-to-date CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Professional attitude and excellent customer service skills
- Reliable and punctual
