The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for a Container / Storage Operative to support ongoing storage and container work in Brighouse HD6.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be working inside a storage container containing approximately 2,000 pallets. The role involves manual handling tasks and requires heavy lifting, so we are looking for strong, physically fit individuals.
Shift Pattern:
- Initial requirement for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
- Ad hoc shifts, each lasting approximately 4 hours
- Opportunity to increase to 15-20 shifts per month over time
Staffing Requirement:
The client requires one operative initially, with potential for further placements as the work develops.
Key Requirements:
- Comfortable working in a container environment
- Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with ad hoc shifts
- PPE awareness (safety boots and hi vis provided/required)
