NOW HIRING: Class 2 / 7.5T Tarmac Driver - North Lincolnshire

The Best Connection are looking for a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Tarmac Driver to join our highways maintenance team. 7.5T (C1) drivers will also be considered, provided you hold a valid CPC and in‑date Digi Card.

About the Role

  • Working across North Lincolnshire, you will support road repair and resurfacing teams with:
  • Transporting and delivering Tarmac to various sites
  • Assisting with road repairs and resurfacing
  • Using equipment such as Stihl saws and breakers (preferred but not essential)
  • Completing daily vehicle checks and paperwork
  • Working as part of a hands‑on, supportive highways team

Hours & Pay

  • £14.00 per hour
  • Monday to Friday
  • Start time: 06:00
  • Finish usually around 14:30, depending on the job
  • Guaranteed 10 hours' pay per shift
  • Potential to become permanent after a qualifying period

Requirements

  • Class 2 (Cat C) or 7.5T (C1) licence
  • Valid CPC card
  • In‑date Digital Tachograph card
  • Experience with tarmac, highways work, saws, or breakers preferred
  • Good work ethic and willingness to get hands‑on
