The Best Connection are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Stores Person to join their busy team in Bridgend.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is reliable, hardworking and keen to develop their skills within a busy stores environment.
The Role
- Receiving and checking deliveries, ensuring goods arrive in good condition.
- Safely unloading vehicles using mechanical handling equipment.
- Organising, sorting and managing stock levels.
- Following up on late deliveries and missing goods.
- Maintaining accurate stock records and carrying out stock checks.
- Supplying materials to operatives as required.
- Ensuring all goods are stored safely and appropriately.
- Carrying out general stores duties and keeping the workplace clean, tidy and organised.
What We're Looking For
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- A willingness to learn new skills.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team.
- Previous stores or warehouse experience would be advantageous.
- B1 forklift experience/licence would be an advantage.
