Located in: RG42. Shift times: 7am - 5pm (1 hour break unpaid) Monday to Friday. Salary: £13 per hour.
The Best Connection is working with a National waste recycling company to find a Yard Operative to start immediately in RG42.
Key responsibilities include:
- Picking contaminated materials from incoming waste.
- Working with onsite staff to clean machinery, equipment, site roads etc.
- Housekeeping of the operator cabins and site as requested.
- Assist Machine Operatives with tasks as requested.
- Report any mechanical defects to the site foreman or manager.
- Support and develop with Sprayer and Welding tasks.
- Sorting green waste arriving on site.
- Loading vehicles taking material off site.
- Assisting machine operator with filling bags of material (soil/sand/compost).
- General yard work in Toilet Hire yard, cleaning, preparing units.
- Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles and trailers of toilets for events.
Skills required:
- Reliability.
- Physically fit - lifting up to 25Kg.
- Ability to work outside in all weather.
- Team player.
- Proactive attitude.
