Quality Control Operative
Location: Bolton

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Control Operative to join a well-established company based in Bolton. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a keen interest in chemistry and quality assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular quality control and chemical/physical analysis of bulk products prior to production runs
- Ensure accuracy with weights and measures, carrying out on-line checks (single point)
- Perform quality inspections on incoming packaging materials and components prior to release
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve any quality-related issues
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all checks meet required standards
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic understanding of chemistry
- Punctual, reliable, and well‑organised
- Enthusiastic with a proactive attitude
- Computer literate with the ability to input and manage data
- Previous experience in a quality control or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential
