Van Driver - Birtley
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Van Driver to join our team based in Birtley. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Van Driver looking for consistent work.
The successful candidate will be completing 40-45 deliveries per day of office supplies across the North East. The role involves self-loading and self-routing, however a scanner will be provided to assist with navigation and deliveries. Manual handling will also be required as part of your daily duties.
Start time: 08:00 - finish, Monday to Friday
Pay rate: £12.71 per hour (PAYE)
Contract: Temp to perm opportunity
Working as a Van Driver, your key responsibilities will include:
- Completing multi-drop deliveries efficiently
- Loading your vehicle and planning your route
- Using a handheld scanner to track deliveries
- Providing excellent customer service
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
- Must have multidrop experience
