Warehouse Operative - Freezer Environment
Location-: Aston, Birmingham
Job Type-: Full Time
Shifts-:
- 6:00am - 14:00pm
- 14:00pm - 22:00pm
Pay-: £12.71 - £13.71 depending on shift.
Pay increases after 12 weeks
We are currently recruiting warehouse operatives to join our busy team based in Birmingham.
This is a fast paced, physically demanding role working in extremely cold temperatures, so we are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who are comfortable working in cold conditions and enjoy working as a team.
Key Responsibilities-:
- Picking/packing orders accurately and efficiently
- Moving stock safely around the warehouse
- Working in a freezer/cold store
- Checking products and orders for accuracy
- Labelling and preparing goods for dispatch
- Follow all company health and safety procedures
- Work towards daily productivity and performance targets
The Ideal Candidate Will Be-:
- Reliable, punctual, hardworking
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Have a good attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to work at pace whilst maintaining accuracy
- Be a team player
- Good attention to detail
Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential.
