Metal Polisher on behalf of one of our prestigious manufacturing clients based in Birmingham.

This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a skilled Metal Polisher looking to secure a long-term position with a well-established specialist manufacturer.

The successful candidate will join a highly experienced team producing exceptional finishes on a variety of high-quality metal products used within architectural, commercial and heritage restoration projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Polish and restore metal components to a high-quality finish using a variety of hand tools and polishing equipment.
  • Remove surface imperfections including scratches, blemishes and oxidation.
  • Work with a range of metals including stainless steel, bronze, brass and aluminium.
  • Achieve high cosmetic standards while working to customer specifications.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet strict quality requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
  • Follow all company health and safety procedures.
  • The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience as a Metal Polisher, Linisher, Fettler or Metal Finisher.
  • Confident using polishing machinery and hand-held tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a passion for producing quality workmanship.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual and looking for a long-term career opportunity.
  • Hours & Pay

£14.00 - £15.00 per hour , depending on experience.

• Friday

  • Overtime may be available.
