We are currently recruiting for a busy warehouse based in Aston, Birmingham and are looking for a reliable and hardworking FLT / Warehouse Operative to join the team. This is not solely an FLT role and will involve a high level of manual handling and physical work. Candidates must be comfortable working in cold environments and outdoors as part of daily operations. Key Responsibilities
- Operating FLT trucks safely and efficiently (Counterbalance and/or Reach)
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Manual handling and hand-balling of goods
- Working in cold conditions and external areas when required
- Moving, storing, and organising stock within the warehouse
- Picking and placing goods accurately
- General warehouse cleaning and housekeeping
- Following all health & safety procedures at all times
Experience & Requirements
- Previous warehouse or storeman experience essential
- Valid FLT licence required
- Counterbalance or Reach (both preferred)
- Experience with manual handling and physically demanding work
