We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Van Driver to join our client based in the B37 area. This is a full-time, ongoing role offering consistent weekday hours and the opportunity to work within a supportive and friendly environment.

Role Overview

As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for completing local and regional deliveries to customers and businesses. This is a customer-facing position, so a positive attitude and good communication skills are essential. You will be representing the company while on the road and at delivery points.

Alongside driving duties, there will be day-to-day warehouse responsibilities, supporting the team with preparing orders, loading vehicles, and ensuring daily operational objectives and targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily deliveries and collections in a company van
  • Load and unload goods (handball involved)
  • Provide excellent customer service at each delivery point
  • Complete delivery paperwork and follow company procedures
  • Perform vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness
  • Support with warehouse duties including picking, packing, and loading
  • Work with the warehouse team to ensure daily targets and objectives are achieved
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence (Category B)
  • Comfortable with manual handling and handball
  • Good timekeeping and reliability
  • Friendly, professional manner with customers
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a warehouse team
  • Previous multi-drop or warehouse experience beneficial but not essential
