The Best Connection are recruiting for a Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner on behalf our client based in Aintree.
The role includes the following:
- Select appropriate wood types and materials, and prepare them according to detailed specifications
- Craft bespoke cabinets, furniture and architectural features tailored to ecclesiastical and luxury home environments
- Execute precise joinery techniques including dovetailing, mortise and tenon and other traditional woodworking joints
- Operate hand tools such as chisels, saws and Operate power tools such as sanders, routers, drills
- Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure all work meets design specifications and craftsmanship standards
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics and cutting lists with precision
- Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues as they arise.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow joiners, carpenters and site personnel to ensure smooth project execution
Key Requirements:
- Proven relevant experience or apprenticeships
- Skilled in using hand and power tools with strong joinery knowledge
- High standards of precision and craftsmanship
- Capable of resolving fabrication issues efficiently
- Hold a valid CSCS card
The working hours are 08:30 – 16:30, Mon – Fri.
