The Best Connection are recruiting for one of our clients in Bedford for experienced Warehouse Operatives for early and late shifts. Pay rate starts from £13.31 for the AM shift and £13.77 for the PM shift.
Shift timing is 06:00 - 14:30 am shift and 14:30 - 23:00 Monday to Friday, overtime is paid @ time and a half after 40 hours, subject to availability
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative:
- Pick and pack items from the warehouse with a high degree of accuracy, ready for immediate dispatch
- Unload containers of stock and distribute throughout the warehouse in correct locations
- Use in-house software to process orders
- Maintaining accuracy and meeting daily targets
- Work collaboratively with the Warehouse teams to achieve pick targets and maintain the productive warehouse environment.
Requirements of the Warehouse Operative:
- Must have recent warehouse experience
- Good attention to detail and organisation
- Must be reliable, trustworthy with a good work ethic
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Commitment to health and safety standards
- Must be physically fit and strong as the stock handled requires regular Manual handling and heavy lifting
