We are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join a well-established and growing business based in Basingstoke. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong B2B sales and administration background who is looking to join a supportive team and develop their career within a successful business. The successful candidate will join a close-knit team of three, working alongside experienced colleagues with full training provided on the company's systems and processes. This position is offered on a 12-week temp-to-perm basis from day one, with the opportunity to become a permanent member of the team following a successful temporary period.

The Role: As a Sales Administrator, you will play an important role in supporting customers and the wider sales team, ensuring orders, enquiries and administration are dealt with accurately and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to customer enquiries via telephone and email in a professional and timely manner
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with B2B customers
  • Processing customer orders, quotations, enquiries and returns
  • Providing general sales and administrative support to the team
  • Resolving customer queries and complaints, escalating where appropriate
  • Maintaining accurate customer and order records
  • Using Sage to process orders and complete relevant administration
  • Supporting reporting, data entry and document management
  • Assisting with general office administration
  • Working closely with the wider team to ensure excellent customer service
  • Carrying out any other administrative or sales-related duties as required

About You: We are looking for someone who has a strong administration background combined with previous B2B sales experience. Ideally you will have at least 1 year's relevant experience within a sales administration, customer service or B2B environment.
