The Best Connection are currently recruiting for B1 Counterbalance FLT Drivers to join a busy and well-established manufacturing site in Somercotes. This is a dual-role position, so candidates must be happy to support with general operative duties when not operating the FLT.
The Role
- Operating a B1 Counterbalance Forklift Truck
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials across site
- Supporting production with hands-on operative duties
- Using hand and power tools
- Assisting within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Maintaining high health & safety standards at all times
Working Hours
- Monday: 06:00 - 16:30
- Tuesday: 06:00 - 16:30
- Wednesday: 06:00 - 16:00
- Thursday: 06:00 - 16:00
- Friday: 06:00 - 15:30
- £19.83 on Saturdays!!
- Ongoing, full-time work
Requirements
- Valid B1 Counterbalance licence (ESSENTIAL - accredited only)
- Previous experience in precast concrete, construction, manufacturing, or similar
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Flexible and willing to carry out manual / operative duties
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious
