HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E)
Location: Hythe, Kent
Pay: £17ph with accrued holiday, £20ph - £21ph including holiday

We are currently recruiting an experience HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver for ongoing work with our established client based in Hythe, Kent.
This is an ongoing opportunity for an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for regular long-distance trunking work. Routes primarily cover the Midlands, including Solihull, Derby and Coventry.
The majority of the work is trunking, with occasional delivery drops depending on the route.
Previous Class 1 driving experience, curtain-side experience and CMR documentation experience are essential.
The Role

HGV Class 1 trunking from Hythe to the Midlands.

Regular routes to Solihull, Derby and Coventry.

Predominantly trunking with occasional delivery drops.

Operating curtain-sided trailers.

Completing CMRs and associated transport documentation.

Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.

Working within Driver Hours and Working Time regulations.

Maintaining a professional service at all times.
Requirements
-
Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.

Valid Driver CPC.

Valid Digital Tachograph Card.

Previous Class 1 driving experience.

Curtain-side experience - essential.

CMR documentation experience - essential.

Good understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time regulations.

£17.00-£21.00 per hour
