Our client based in Atherstone is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to join their late shift team. This role involves setting and operating universal bed‑type milling machines with Heidenhain controls, working across a wide range of materials including Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Mild Steel and Cast Iron. Experience with medium to large fabrications and castings is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting, operating & programming CNC Heidenhain machines
- Programming online using the Heidenhain control system
- Working with universal milling heads
- Using overhead cranes safely
- Reading & interpreting engineering drawings
- Machining to high tolerances
- Completing your own quality inspections
Working Hours (4-Day Week!)
Monday-Wednesday: 4:00pm - 2:00am
Thursday: 3:00pm - Midnight
Total: 39 hours per week
Pay Rate £17.00 - £20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
