The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our client based in Atherstone. This Class 2 Driver role offers consistent weekday work with a straightforward trunking route and no handballing required. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for regular Monday to Friday work within the transport and logistics industry.
Responsibilities
- Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and professionally
- Completing the Atherstone to Reading trunking route and return journey
- Carrying out vehicle checks before and after shifts
- Completing all required paperwork accurately
- Following drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Good understanding of road transport regulations
Pay & Working Hours
- £15.00 per hour (flat rate for all hours)
- Monday - Friday
- Start time: 11:00
- No handballing required
