The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf of our client for an Assistant Manager to join a busy food retail business in Millhouses, Sheffield.

Pay: £12.91 per hour

Hours: 28 hours per week (5 shifts, including Saturdays)

Up to 42 hours when covering annual leave. No evening or Sunday working.

The Role: Supporting the Shop Manager with the day-to-day running of the store, you'll lead the team, deliver excellent customer service, prepare and serve fresh food and drinks, manage stock, maintain high standards, and run the shop one day each week when the manager is off.

We're Looking For:

  • Retail, hospitality, or food service experience
  • Supervisory or team leader experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Positive, reliable, and hands-on approach
  • Flexible to provide cover at other local branches if required
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
