The Best Connection are currently seeking Assembly Operatives for our client in Mansfield who are one of the worldwide market leaders of their products in the Military/Civil Aerospace Industry!
Role & responsibilities:
- Assembling aerospace products and parts from drawings.
- Assemble small intricate parts and components, feeding wires into connectors, requiring exceptional dexterity and attention to detail.
- Following listed instructions/measurements carefully.
- Working in a seated, designated area to complete orders and follow targets.
- Usage of magnification and specialised tools to complete orders, ensuring quality and performance standards are achieved.
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 0730 - 1600 (30 min unpaid break daily). Once trained, you may have the option to condense your hours down, for example, to enable an early finish on a Friday.
Pay rate: £12.78 per hour. Time and a half paid after 40 hours worked.
The client are looking for candidates with a background within a similar role i.e. nail art, painting/drawing by numbers, building of model figures, computer/phone dismantling, sewing machine skills, etc. as well as the below skills:
- Good attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Be able to work well under pressure.
- Have a great attitude and work ethic.
- Great level of English reading.
You will be required to attend your 1st interview in TBC Mansfield branch, where you shall complete a bespoke application form for the client. Once deemed successful by the client, your 2nd interview will be based on our client's premises, including a dexterity test, colour blindness test, and English reading test.
