We are currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Wirer / Inspector to join a busy client of ours in Ashford. This is a hands-on role focused on wiring, assembly, and inspection of electrical and electronic components to ensure high quality and compliance with specifications.
Working Hours
- Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am - 2:30pm - Early finish every Friday
Pay
£12.21 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire components following schematics and work instructions
- Carry out point-to-point wiring, cable assemblies, and panel wiring
- Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy, workmanship, and quality compliance
- Use test equipment to check continuity, polarity, and basic functionality
- Identify and report any defects or non-conformances
- Accurately complete production and inspection documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
