Forklift Driver

Pay Rate: £12.50

Shifts: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles and storage areas.
• Move stock to designated areas within the warehouse or yard.
• Ensure all loads are secure and comply with health and safety standards.
• Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance needs.
• Assist with general warehouse duties including stock checks and order picking.
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
• Support the team in meeting delivery schedules and customer expectations.

Requirements

• Valid forklift license (Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck).
• Previous experience in a warehouse or builders\’ merchant environment preferred.
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
