We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team in Ashford. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.
We are ideally seeking someone with at least 2 years of warehouse experience, although candidates with relevant skills and a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Receiving, checking, and storing incoming deliveries.
- Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders accurately.
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Carrying out stock checks and assisting with inventory control.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
- Operating warehouse equipment in accordance with company procedures (training provided where required).
- Following health and safety regulations at all times.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily operational targets.
Essential
- Ideally 2 years' experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
- Forklift licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach).
- Experience using warehouse management systems or handheld scanners.
- Basic IT skills.
Working hours 08:00-17:00 Monday to Thursday, 08:00-16:00 on Fridays!
