The Best Connection are currently recruiting for B1 Counterbalance FLT Drivers to join a busy and well-established manufacturing site in Somercotes. This is a dual-role position, so candidates must be happy to support with general operative duties when not operating the FLT.

The Role:

  • Operating a B1 Counterbalance Forklift Truck
  • Loading, unloading, and moving materials across site
  • Supporting production with hands-on operative duties
  • Using hand and power tools
  • Assisting within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Maintaining high health & safety standards at all times

Working Hours:

  • Monday: 06:00 - 16:30
  • Tuesday: 06:00 - 16:30
  • Wednesday: 06:00 - 16:00
  • Thursday: 06:00 - 16:00
  • Friday: 06:00 - 15:30
  • £19.83 on Saturdays!!

Requirements:

  • Valid B1 Counterbalance licence (ESSENTIAL - accredited only)
  • Previous experience in precast concrete, construction, manufacturing, or similar
  • Confident using hand and power tools
  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately
  • Flexible and willing to carry out manual / operative duties
  • Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious
