We are currently recruiting for an experienced Advanced Operator to join a busy production environment. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in manufacturing or packing who are looking to further develop their technical skills and take on greater responsibility within a production setting. As an Advanced Operator, you will have a thorough understanding of production line operations, with a focus on tasks requiring specific technical knowledge. Full training and ongoing support will be provided to help you become a subject matter expert in your area, developing in-depth knowledge of machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhering to all company standards relating to health and safety, environmental practices, hygiene, food safety and product quality
  • Operating machinery to set standards and monitoring performance to ensure efficient running
  • Consistently monitoring production output to meet required targets
  • Responding to production issues promptly and escalating more complex or high-risk concerns
  • Carrying out autonomous and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment efficiency
  • Undertaking first-line breakdown activities and working closely with the maintenance team on more complex faults
  • Training and supporting colleagues to improve team capability across equipment, processes and standard operating procedures
  • Taking part in continuous improvement activities and identifying opportunities to enhance production performance

Working Hours

Rotating shift pattern: Mornings: 06:00 - 14:00 Afternoons: 14:00 - 22:00. Please note that flexibility is required, as shift patterns may change in line with production demands.

Pay Rate

£16.15 per hour
