Class 2 ADR Driver - Stratford (Leyton Road)
About the Role
The Best Connection is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients based on Leyton Road, Stratford, for an experienced Class 2 ADR Driver. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a professional driver looking for long‑term employment with a well‑established logistics provider.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of oxygen cylinders to customers, ensuring the highest levels of customer service while adhering to all ADR and health & safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely deliver oxygen cylinders to customer locations across the region
- Complete between 3-10 deliveries per shift
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure vehicles remain roadworthy
- Load and unload products safely in accordance with ADR regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers
- Adhere to all transport, health & safety, and company policies
- Report any vehicle defects, delivery issues, or incidents promptly
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
- ADR Licence - Essential
- Minimum 2 years’ Class 2 driving experience
- No more than 3 penalty points on your driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Strong understanding of road transport and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, professional, and safety‑conscious approach
What’s on Offer
- Monday – Friday
- 6:00am start time
- 48 hours per week
- £19.00 per hour
- 33 days holiday entitlement
- Temp-to-Perm after 16 weeks
- Overtime available
