We have a new and exciting job opportunity for a Stand Builder to start ASAP based in the RH15 area.
The main aspects of this job include stand construction, delivery driving and warehouse work.
Training will be provided. Once completed, you will be paid an hourly rate of £17.50.
Shift times vary.
- Job Responsibilities
- Travelling to locations around Europe to help assist with setting up exhibition stands
- Pre‑building of these stands in the warehouse
- Checking returned items before going back into storage
- Loading / Driving
- Driving to client sites in the UK and overseas
- Loading the vehicles and ensuring they are packed correctly and securely
- Collecting and delivering artwork to clients’ homes, exhibitions and galleries
- Warehouse
- Picking / packing event equipment ready for shipping
- Palletising goods
- Ensuring all equipment is correctly recorded on the system
- Stand construction / installation
- Making sure the flooring is laid properly and labelling is in the correct places
- Liaising with clients where appropriate
- Dismantling the stand and returning it back to the warehouse.
- Help handle and pack artwork at art fairs
Essential Requirements
- Clean full driving licence
- Flexible approach to working hours/working away UK and overseas – shift times may vary
- Mechanical / carpentry knowledge desirable
- C1 licence – CPC/ Digital Tacho card
