The Best Connection Sheffield is recruiting a reliable and professional 7.5 Tonne (C1) Driver on behalf of our client, a specialist provider of machine knife sharpening services. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate, offering full training and the chance to secure a permanent role with a well-established business.
Training
The successful candidate will initially drive a company van for approximately 3-5 weeks while completing full training, learning the role before progressing to a 7.5-tonne vehicle.
The Role
- Nationwide collections and deliveries
- Visiting pre-arranged industrial customer sites
- Typical start time of 6:30am
- Loading and unloading goods
- Manual handling and occasional heavy lifting
- Providing a professional, safe, and reliable service at all times
Pay
£14.00 - £15.00 per hour (DOE)
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Valid C1 (7.5 Tonne) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
