We are seeking a skilled production operative with skills of asewing machinist to join our production team. This role involves repairing customer garments using a sewing machine, overlocker, and press stud machine as well as production duties. Typical repairs include: Darn work Patch work Zip replacements Press stud replacements Seam sewing/repair Repairs will be performed on various items such as coats, boilersuits, trousers, and more. The role also includes some paperwork and computer use to record and charge customers for repairs. Key Responsibilities: Perform garment repairs efficiently and to a high standard Operate sewing machines and other equipment safely Complete necessary paperwork and computer entries accurately Work on production lines and repair stations as needed Candidate Requirements: Experience with sewing machines and garment repairs Ability to perform a variety of repair tasks Basic computer skills for recording and charging repairs Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays and bank holidays Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Below, you will find a complete breakdown of everything required of potential candidates, as well as how to apply Good luck.
