VAN DRIVER - CRAWLEY
The Best Connection Group are recruiting reliable and experienced Van Driver - Crawley to work with our established client, DHL, at their Copthorne depot.
With increased demand during the upcoming peak season, this is a great opportunity to join a busy delivery operation and secure ongoing work throughout the November-to-Christmas period. A new opportunity within logistics distribution and supply chain industry.
What We Offer
- £14.73 per hour (PAYE)
- Overtime rate applicable after 40 hours worked
- Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts
- 08:30-18:00 shift pattern

Responsibilities as VAN DRIVER - CRAWLEY:
- Complete assigned delivery and collection duties across the designated area.
- Transport parcels and goods safely between the depot and customer locations.
- Ensure all items are handled securely and delivered within the required timeframes.
- Carry out routine vehicle inspections and report any faults or damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proof of delivery where required.
- Communicate courteously with customers and represent the company professionally.
- Comply with all relevant health and safety guidelines, driving regulations and company procedures.
Candidate Requirements:
Due to the nature of the role and the security procedures in place, all applicants must be able to meet the following requirements:
- Successfully complete a practical van driving assessment.
- Pass a criminal record check, fully funded by the employer.
- Provide a complete and verifiable 5-year employment history. Any gaps exceeding 28 days must be supported by a suitable gap reference.
- Supply a full 5-year residential address history.
- Present valid photographic identification, such as a passport, photocard driving licence or national ID card.
- Be able to provide the necessary documentation to complete all required background checks.
