Class 1 Driver
Location: Tamworth
Pay Rate: £18 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am Start
Contract: Adhoc
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our client's busy operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver looking for an Ah-doc role.
The Role
As a Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:
- Trunking work
- Completing local and regional deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
- Yard shunting and vehicle movements when required.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations.
- Adhering to all road transport and health & safety regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (Category C) Driving Licence. (2 years experience)
- Valid CPC Qualification Card.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience delivering building materials is desirable.
- Comfortable with shunting and yard movements.
- Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
