Class 1 (Cat C+E) Low Loader Driver Wanted

The Best Connection Eastbourne is actively recruiting a Class 1 Low Loader Driver to join a trusted partner. This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of heavy plant machinery and equipment to various sites across the region.
What you'll be doing
You’ll be responsible for:
- Operating a Class 1 low loader vehicle to transport plant and machinery.
- Loading and securing equipment safely using appropriate restraints.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance.
- Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed on time.
- Completing relevant paperwork and adhering to transport regulations.
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times.
- Communicating professionally with site managers, customers, and transport teams.
- Representing the company in a professional manner whilst on site and on the road.

What you’ll need & what you’ll get
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (Cat C+E) Licence.
- Valid CPC Qualification Card.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Proven experience operating low loader vehicles.
- Good knowledge of load securing procedures.
- Strong awareness of road safety and transport regulations.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional nights and weekends.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
