The Best Connection Reading is recruiting a Class 2 Driver for an ongoing opportunity based in Bracknell.
You will be responsible for delivering telecommunications equipment to engineers at various locations
Pay Rates:
- £19.83 per hour - Basic rate
- £27.03 per hour - Overtime after 37.5 hours per week
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 6:00am starts.
- 10-hour shifts
- 30-minute unpaid break
- Ongoing work
The Role:
- Deliveries to building sites, commercial premises, telephone exchanges and other operational sites
- You will be travelling to different locations throughout the working day, ensuring equipment arrives safely and on time.
- London deliveries involved.
- Unloading deliveries by hand, if FLT 's are not available at certain sites.
Training and Development:
- Paid-in experience from day one: During your first week, you will be paired with an experienced driver who will show you the role and help you get settled in.
- Moffett training opportunity: The company offers Moffett training to drivers who stay with them.
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 2 driving experience is preferable
- A reliable and professional attitude
- Good customer service skills
