The Best Connection have exciting new opportunities in Runcorn. Our client, a leading & well known manufacturer, is looking to recruit a number of dedicated and reliable Packers to work in their busy packing department.
The main duties will include:
- Packing health vitamins & tablets into tubes / blister packs
- Making sure production lines / machines are running correctly
- Assembling the packaging ready for packing
- Quality checking all packed products ready for despatch
- All other packing associated tasks
Skills/Attributes:
- A good eye for detail to ensure accuracies with orders
- Adhere to health & safety procedures on site
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
The working hours are 22:00 – 06:15, Sunday to Thursday with regular overtime available, which is paid at attractive rates throughout the week and at weekends.
Overtime rules as follows:
- 1.5 after 41.25 hours Sunday to Thursday
- 1.5 after Fridays (providing standard hours completed)
- 2× Sundays (providing Sunday to Friday worked)
This is an ongoing position, and will lead to a permanent role after a successful qualifying period.
Experience working within a similar role is desired, but not required.
