The Best Connection are currently recruiting experienced
Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a well-established transport operation based in
Worksop.
Due to increased workload, we have immediate opportunities available for reliable and professional drivers to join a busy
palletised distribution operation.
The Role
- Multi-drop deliveries of palletised products
- Deliveries generally within the same geographical area
- Use of electric pump trucks for unloading
- Average shift length of 8-9 hours
- Full training and induction provided
- Ongoing work with the potential to become permanent
Shift Patterns
A variety of shifts are available, including:
- Days
- Nights
- 4 on / 4 off
- 5 over 7
Pay
Class 2 Days: £14.68 per hour
Average earnings: £36,642 per annum
- Weekly PAYE pay
- Ongoing and ad hoc work available
- Temp-to-perm opportunities
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum of 6 penalty points
- Ideally a minimum of 2 years' Class 2 driving experience
- Candidates with less than 2 years' experience may be considered depending on experience
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach
- 2-3 days paid training and induction
- Weekly pay
- 28 days' paid annual leave (pro-rata based on accrual)
