About the Role
The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf of a reputable bathroom supply company for a Warehouse Operative to join their busy team. This is a hands-on, physically active role in a fast‑paced warehouse environment, ideal for candidates who enjoy working as part of a team and taking ownership of their tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Order picking and packing, including batch confirmation and control.
- Handling palletised and loose box shipments.
- Stock movements using manual handling processes.
- Stock counting and maintaining location control.
- Supporting other warehouse functions by maintaining operating space.
- Assisting with manual loading and unloading of vehicles, including containers.
- Receiving goods and allocating them to predefined areas.
- Occasional use of handheld scanners.
- Ensuring general warehouse cleanliness and organisation.
Requirements
- Physically active and capable of sustained manual handling, including heavy or awkward items, some requiring 2‑person lifts.
- Reliable and committed with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow health and safety procedures.
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but full training will be provided.
