The Best Connection is currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join a well-established client based in Usk. This is an excellent opportunity for newly qualified drivers looking to gain experience, as new passes are welcome. The role offers ongoing, full-time work with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period. This position involves working as part of a slow-moving convoy rather than multi-drop deliveries, making it a more straightforward driving role with a strong focus on safety and teamwork.
Duties will include:
- Driving a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle as part of a convoy
- Following planned routes at controlled speeds
- Maintaining safe distances and communication within the convoy
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with regulations
- Supporting the wider team as required
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- New passes welcome
- Good understanding of road safety and driver responsibilities
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work well as part of a team
£15.00 per hour, 07:30 starts
