Warehouse Operatives Wanted - Temp To Perm Opportunity
Location: Uckfield
Shifts: Monday - Friday
Hours: Rotating shifts - Subject to change
- Early: 6:00am - 1:00pm
- Late: 11:00am - 7:00pm
Job Summary
We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative to support a busy print factory in Uckfield. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone reliable, organised, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth goods‑in, stock control, and internal logistics between the warehouse and production areas. This position is offered on a temporary basis through The Best Connection, eventually leading to a permanent contract after a successful period.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Receiving, checking, and booking in stock including paper, inks, and consumables
- Managing goods‑in and dispatch operations
- Maintaining accurate stock records through daily physical counts
- Strapping completed work and organising daily movement between factories
- Producing a simple daily stock report, including:
- Completed stock counts
- Internal stock transfers (warehouse machines)
- Replenishment requirements from suppliers
(Please note: duties may vary depending on operational requirements.)

- Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Remain vigilant, alert, and aware of surrounding risks at all times
