Warehouse FLT Operative Wanted - Consistent Work & Weekly Pay
Location: Uckfield | Rotating Shifts (Subject to change)
- Earlies | Mon - Fri: 06:00 - 13:00
- Lates | Mon - Fri: 11:00 - 19:00
We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative to support a busy print factory in Uckfield. This is a hands-on role suited to someone reliable, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth goods-in, stock control, and internal logistics between the warehouse and production areas. This position is offered on a temporary basis, eventually leading to a permanent contract after a successful period.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receiving, checking, and booking in stock including paper, inks, and consumables
- Managing goods-in and dispatch operations
- Maintaining accurate stock records through daily physical counts
- Strapping completed work and organising daily movement between factories
- Producing a simple daily stock report, including:
- Completed stock counts
- Internal stock transfers (warehouse machines)
- Replenishment requirements from suppliers
- Daily (or twice-daily, volume-dependent) house sheet and paper stock checks
(Please note: duties may vary depending on operational requirements.)
Health & Safety:
- Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Remain vigilant, alert, and aware of surrounding risks at all times
Preferable for this position but not essential:
- Access to own vehicle
Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK.
