About the Role
The Best Connection Group Ltd are currently recruiting for a
Transport Planner to join a busy transport operation based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with
previous transport planning experience who are looking for a
long term position with the potential to become permanent.
The role is
Monday to Friday on a rotational shift pattern. Once fully trained, shifts will rotate between:
- 06:00am to 14:00pm
- 07:00am to 15:00pm
- 14:00pmm to 22:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and coordinating daily transport operations
- Allocating routes to drivers
- Monitoring vehicle and driver movements throughout the day
- Communicating effectively with drivers, customers and the wider transport team
- Ensuring transport schedules are managed efficiently and accurately
The Ideal Candidate
- Salary £30,237.50 per annum / £15.50ph
- Previous transport planning experience is essential
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced transport environment
