We are seeking a motivated Trainee Quality Technician to join our Quality team, supporting both the Flixborough and Louth sites. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or grow their career in laboratory quality assurance within a fast‑paced industrial environment. You will begin your role based at the Flixborough Industrial Estate, with all training and day‑to‑day duties carried out there. The position will permanently relocate to the Louth site at the end of this year.
As a Trainee Quality Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring raw materials, in‑process products and finished goods meet strict quality, safety and compliance standards. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct sampling, testing, inspection and reporting for raw materials, processed materials and finished products.
- Complete routine quality checks on production lines and packaging materials.
- Calibrate laboratory equipment and maintain accurate, audit‑ready documentation.
- Prepare and dispatch customer samples.
- Support internal audits and compliance activities (BRC, ISO, HACCP).
- Assist with quality investigations, improvements and product development.
