About the Role

The Best Connection Tamworth is recruiting a Warehouse Assistant with strong PC skills for a client based in the Tamworth area. The company supplies train and rail parts for both planned and emergency rail maintenance. This role offers the opportunity to understand the full warehouse process from start to finish, combining hands-on warehouse duties with administrative and customer communication tasks.

Key Duties

  • Stock checking and stock control
  • Labelling and putting stock away correctly
  • Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
  • Printing labels and preparing documentation
  • Booking transport, including international shipments.
  • PC-based tasks using Microsoft Office.
  • Communicating with customers (mainly via email)
  • Ensuring high standards and efficient working processes are maintained
