Production operative- day shift -£12.71 - £13 DOE per hour -- Swindon
Our client is in the Swindon area, easily accessible by public transport.
Hours and pay: Monday to Friday, 05:30am - 14:00pm
£12.71 - £13 DOE
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing heavy delicate items.
- Light sanding when required
- Quality Control: Checking items for quality, accuracy, and defects.
- Material Handling: Preparing, loading, and moving raw materials.
- Finishing & Packing: Polishing, varnishing, and packing finished items for dispatch.
- Safety & Maintenance: Adhering to health and safety standards, cleaning work areas, and performing routine tool maintenance.
Requirements and Skills
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials.
- Skills: Good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and ability to read technical drawings/instructions.
- Qualifications: Usually, no formal qualifications are required; training is provided on-site.
- Experience: Experience in manufacturing or furniture industry is preferred but not essential.
