The Best Connection Swindon is recruiting on behalf of a leading timber and distribution company based on the outskirts of Swindon. Due to continued growth, our client is looking to strengthen their warehouse team with a skilled and reliable FLT Driver.
This is a
- temp-to-perm opportunity
- your own transport is essential.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year's Counterbalance FLT experience
- Combi FLT experience
- Valid FLT licence(s)
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work safely in a busy warehouse environment
Hours & Pay
- Monday to Friday
- 2:00pm - 11:00pm
- £13.47 per hour (PAYE)
- Temp-to-perm opportunity
Key Responsibilities
- Operating Counterbalance and Combi FLT trucks safely and efficiently
- Moving timber products throughout the warehouse and yard
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Picking and preparing customer orders accurately
- Assisting with stock movements and storage
- Following all health and safety procedures
