The Best Connection Swindon is currently recruiting a reliable and professional C1 (7.5T) Driver to join one of our well-established clients. Our client provides parcel delivery and returns services to a wide range of businesses, both across the UK and internationally.
This is an ongoing role with consistent weekday work and excellent rates of pay.
Requirements- Valid C1 licence
- CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 penalty points
- No DR, DD, or IN convictions
- Monday to Friday
- 09:00 am start
- £14.56 per hour
- £21.84 per hour on Bank Holidays
- Ongoing position with immediate start available
- C1 driving between Swindon and Whitney
- Average shifts of 8-10 hours
- Typically 1-4 drops or collections per day
- Some handballing required
- Carrying out vehicle safety checks
- Driving in line with road traffic laws and company procedures
