The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Stores Person / FLT Counterbalance Driver on behalf of our well-established client based in the S20 area of Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for a long-term role with progression opportunities and future pay increases for the right candidate.
Duties will include:
- Loading and unloading vans and lorries
- Collecting and preparing orders for delivery
- Stock counting and ordering stock
- Delivering goods when required
- Operating an FLT Counterbalance truck
- Heavy lifting and manual handling
- Working both indoors and outdoors
- Using internal stock systems and completing data entry
Requirements:
- Valid FLT Counterbalance licence
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Good IT skills and confidence using stock systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible with working hours, as this role can include earlier starts and later finishes when required (often an early start on Mondays and a later finish on Fridays)
- Ideally based locally to the S20 or S21 area
