The Best Connection Swindon is currently recruiting for a Paint Operative / Finisher, day shift, this role is a temp to perm assignment. Our client is located in the Swindon area, easily accessible by public transport.
Requirements:
- Experience using painting tools, including spray equipment, hand tools, and power tools
- Good mechanical understanding of equipment operation and maintenance
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship

Hours and pay:
Monday to Friday, 05:30am - 14:00pm £13.73 per hour (PAYE).
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and filling imperfections
- Mix and match paints to achieve required colours and finishes
- Apply coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment, ensuring a consistent finish
- Maintain tools and equipment, including both hand and power tools
- Assist with assembly of components where required for painting processes
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times
- Work collaboratively with team members
