Overview
The Best Connection is recruiting for Electronics Operatives to join our client based in Cwmbran. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business offering long-term work with competitive pay and great working conditions.
Pay and Hours
- £13.00 per hour + £2.86 shift allowance
- Rotating Shifts:
- Week 1: 05:30 – 15:00
- Week 2: 14:30 – 00:00 (midnight)
- Ongoing temporary position with potential for long-term work.
Duties
- Operating within an electronics manufacturing environment (ideally with SMT operation experience)
- Component recognition and understanding of polarities and quality standards
- Working with computer-controlled machinery (good IT literacy advantageous)
- Following detailed instructions and maintaining high levels of accuracy
- Supporting production targets and quality checks
- Soldering tasks where required (training provided)
The ideal candidate will have
- Previous experience in electronics or assembly work
- An eye for detail and commitment to quality
- The ability to work independently on evening shifts
